Clean and in good working condition as shown. This J2 was pulled from a premiere state lab during a facility upgrade. Most recent PM maintenance completed on Oct 2023 and included full refigeration service which was evident in our testing. Cooling is extremely prompt, icing up the chamber walls in under a minute.
Tested onsite at a variation of speeds during several run tests without issue. Extended tests ran the unit at 9500 RPM for 2 hours to test for potential heating issues. The unit was well behaved with refrigeration holding an easy -5°C for the entire run.
Input controls worked as designed. Motor brake and acceleration settings, however, seemed to have less effect than expected on spin-up or spin-down speeds. This did not effect usability other than an extended wait for runs to spin down.
Cosmetically in good condition other than a couple minor marks consistent with use. Interior chamber and lid gasket are clean and in excellent condition.
The JA-10 enclosed was in great condition. Lid threads were perfect.
This system is configured for 208V, 50/60Hz. Comes as shown, with AC cord.
