Clean and in good working condition as shown. This J6 was pulled from a premiere state lab during a facility upgrade. Most recent PM maintenance completed on July 2023 and is current until July 2024.

Tested onsite at several speeds, this centrifuge spun up smoothly running at 4,200 RPM (the max speed of this rotor) for several run tests without issue. Extended tests ran the unit at 2800 RPM for 2 hours to test for potential heating issues. The unit was well behaved with refrigeration holding steady at -20°C for the entire run.

Most input controls worked as designed. Motor brake and acceleration settings, however, seem to have some display issues. Additionally, we were unable to determine if braking adjustments made any change slowing down this high capacity rotor. This did not effect usability other than an extended wait for runs to spin down. 

Cosmetically in good condition other than a couple minor marks consistent with use and several small nicks on top of the chamber door, as shown in photos. Interior chamber and lid gasket are clean and in excellent condition. 

The JS-4.2 enclosed, swinging bucket rotor spins at a max speed 4,200 RPM and is in excellent condition. 

This system is configured for 208V, 50/60Hz. Comes as shown, with AC cord.
