This piece came in with a UHV system that we removed from a premiere federal research facility. Unfortunately, we are unable to determine anything about it. Based on the seal and flange type, it was used in a vacuum environment, though not in UHV.

The entire length is 6". The rod diameter is about 25mm. The flange diameter (OD) is 2.5". The mini "eye-hook at the tip is about 1mm wide. The only hint we received as to its purpose was a tag affixed to the piece that says "Cavity Aperture Dummy".
