Clean and in near pristine condition. This unit was pulled from a premier state facility. It is a 2020 model and was subject to regularly scheduled maintenance and calibration during its deployment. The department listed it in excellent working condition.

Interface was responsive, screen was bright and all menu operations functioned during our limited onsite testing. We did not have slides on hand and conducted no cell counts.

Comes as shown with power adapter. No accessories other than what is shown in photos.

The Invitrogen Countess II Automated Cell Counter uses brightfield imaging and image analysis to count cells in suspension. When used with trypan blue-stained samples, it provides cell count, viability, and cell size information.

The instrument features autofocus, automatic illumination, a touchscreen interface, adjustable counting parameters, and a built-in dilution calculator. Results and images can be saved for transfer by USB.

This is the brightfield-only Countess II model. It does not support EVOS LED light cubes or fluorescence detection.
