Product Description

The ZEISS 446421 is a high-precision 3-position (3Fl) fluorescence filter block slider engineered for research-grade ZEISS Axioplan, Axiophot, and Axioskop microscopy platforms. This mechanical assembly slides directly into the dedicated epi-illumination reflector channel, serving as the primary carrier for dichroic excitation/emission filter cubes. Featuring three distinct retention bays, this slider allows for rapid mechanical switching between separate fluorescence wavelengths (such as DAPI, FITC, or TRITC channels) while maintaining absolute optical center alignment across complex multi-stain cellular assays.

Condition Note: This genuine ZEISS fluorescence block component is in excellent physical and mechanical condition. The push-pull tracking mechanism features rigid alignment, clicking definitively into each of the three position detents.

Installed Filter Cubes

This slider comes pre-configured with two functional fluorescence filter blocks installed:

  • Position I: Equipped with an unlabelled fluorescence cube module (exhibits vibrant reddish/orange excitation/emission optics).
  • Position II: Open / Empty Bay.
  • Position III: Equipped with a genuine ZEISS Filter Set 09 (FITC / GFP).
